The change follows complaints from players about Castore's kits retaining sweat, leading to a 'wet-look' and discomfort, particularly for the women's team. Despite the issue, which Castore has promised to rectify, the brand remains in the Premier League, supplying Wolverhampton Wanderers and soon Everton.
